We arrived in the port of Matosinhos and to get to Porto is about a 30 minute bus ride. We had decided last night that there was not a lot in Porto that we would be interested to see so decided just to stay in the Matosinhos area and wander around there. They had a really nice beach area right next to the dock entrance so we walked along the beach this morning. Other than the beach, there really was not a lot to see, so I think understand why people go to Porto when they dock here! After walking the beach and wandering around the streets, we headed back to the ship and just had a relaxing afternoon. Brian went to the gym to go on the treadmill and I stayed in the room and watched a movie – The Grand Budapest Hotel – not the best movie in the world, that’s for sure! It was nice to just relax as we have some busy days ahead of us of sight-seeing. Here are a few pictures I took today:

So that is about it for today. We are off to dinner shortly. We only ate breakfast this morning and haven’t eaten since. We are trying to make ourselves feel really hungry so we can really enjoy our supper! The meals have been superb!!
